Travel Insurance for Brain Cancer at Just Travel Cover
At Just Travel Cover, we believe everyone should be able to experience the joy of travel. That’s why we offer tailored Travel Insurance for brain cancer and other types of cancer, along with hundreds of other pre-existing medical conditions. Many of these are offered with no upper-age limit unlike other insurers, and made specific to your needs.
To help you find suitable Travel Insurance for brain cancer or a brain tumour, we’ll ask a few questions about your trip, like your age, destination, how long you’ll be away, and, importantly, about your medical history. This helps us match you with policies that can provide cover for your pre-existing medical condition(s). You’ll usually see options in Bronze, Silver, and Gold, making it easier to compare benefits and choose the right level of cover for your needs.
What Questions Will I Be Asked When Applying for Brain Cancer Travel Insurance?
When applying for Brain Cancer Travel Insurance, we’ll need to ask you a few questions to help us understand your condition and needs. We understand some of these may be difficult for you to answer, so if you’d prefer, you can have someone answer on your behalf. Just make sure your chosen person has a copy of your diagnosis and current treatment plan to help them provide the right information.
Questions may include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Has the cancer spread to the brain from somewhere else in the body?
- How long ago was your last cancer treatment for this condition?
- Has the cancer been completely removed or destroyed?
- Is there any further treatment planned?
Depending on your answers, we may ask a few follow-up questions. This is just to help us make sure that we present you with Travel Insurance policies that cover all your pre-existing medical conditions to ensure you are adequately protected.
All policies and claims are subject to acceptance criteria and policy terms and conditions.

Travel Insurance for Brain Cancer FAQs
What does Travel Insurance for Brain Cancer cover?
Brain cancer Travel Insurance covers emergency medical expenses abroad related to your condition, illness, or sudden injury. Cancellation cover is included should an unexpected change in your health mean you can no longer travel, as well as repatriation if it is deemed medical necessary for you to return home before the end of your trip. Added benefits like baggage cover are also included, protecting you in the event your luggage is lost, stolen or damaged.
Are travel options limited for those with Brain Cancer?
If you have brain cancer and are worried about travel options being limited, this largely depends on the stage of your diagnosis and your level of health. If your doctor has cleared you for travel, there’s no reason why you shouldn’t be able to travel with specific brain cancer Travel Insurance. Some brain cancer patients may be advised not to travel due to the increased risk of pressure or swelling in the brain from air travel, which can exacerbate certain tumours.
It’s important to make sure you have consulted with your doctor and/or treatment specialist to confirm you are medically fit to travel, and create a travel plan that caters to your specific needs.
