It’s important to know that standard Travel Insurance is unlikely to cover you for these trips, but we’re here to help.
We know that travelling abroad for medical treatment can be life-changing, and while our policies do not provide cover for medical tourism, we’ve partnered with Pulse Globetrotter Medical Tourism Insurance, who offer tailored policies for those who are heading abroad for planned treatment.
What is Medical Tourism Travel Insurance?
If you’re travelling overseas specifically for medical treatment, such as surgery, dental work, or cosmetic procedures, a standard leisure Travel Insurance policy won’t provide the protection you need should the unexpected happen.

Just Travel Cover’s policies are designed for leisure travel and our policies provide cover for emergency medical treatment abroad, not cover for planned treatment.
Does Travel Insurance cover dental work/teeth?
A standard Travel Insurance policy will cover any unexpected dental work whilst on holiday. However, if you have planned dental treatment for example, a trip to Turkey for dental/cosmentic procedure then you will not be covered and will require specialist Travel Insurance. This is where our partners Pulse Insurance can help. You can get a quote here for a tailored Travel Insurance policy for medical treatment abroad.
