Katie Williams is a Product Specialist at Just Travel Cover with five years’ practical experience in travel insurance.
Having spent several years dealing directly with travel insurance customers, Katie has developed extensive first-hand knowledge of the questions customers ask, the products available to them and the practical challenges that can arise when arranging cover.
Her experience and product knowledge have seen her progress into a role supporting, coaching and upskilling other Just Travel Cover colleagues.
Travel Insurance Experience
Katie joined Just Travel Cover in 2021 and built her travel insurance knowledge through direct, day-to-day experience of helping customers.
During that time, Katie has dealt with thousands of customers, giving her substantial first-hand exposure to different customer circumstances, questions and travel insurance requirements.
As her experience and knowledge developed, Katie progressed into a Product Specialist role. She now handles product and process queries from other agents, provides guidance, reinforces training and contributes to coaching and quality assurance activities.
This gives Katie a particularly practical perspective on travel insurance: she understands both the questions customers actually ask and the information colleagues need to answer those questions accurately and confidently.
Katie also identifies recurring issues and challenges and feeds these back into the business, helping improve systems, processes and the overall experience for both colleagues and customers.

Personal Travel Experience
Katie enjoys summer holidays, with Turkey being a favourite destination. What she particularly enjoys about working in travel insurance is helping customers arrange cover for holidays they’re looking forward to, so they can travel with greater peace of mind.
