Just Travel Cover’s ‘Smart Luggage’ shortlisted for national award
Smart Luggage, the UK’s first parametric insurance product for delayed and lost luggage has been shortisted in the 2022 National Insurance awards for ‘Innovative Product of the Year’.
Just Travel Cover and CPP UK launched ‘Smart Luggage’ earlier this year to offer air travellers real-time baggage support. The first-of-its-kind technology solution offers real-time payouts for airline passengers whose checked luggage cannot be located.
The product is included in all of Just Travel Cover’s gold policies, is available to add to any bronze or silver policy, and will be available to buy as a standalone benefit next year.
Smart Luggage allows travellers to have £50 deposited straight into their bank if their luggage is delayed by 30 mins, and a further £500 if the luggage cannot be located in 48 hours*.
Celebrating excellence in the sector, the National Insurance Awards highlight the very best in general insurance provision and management and Just Travel Cover is delighted that Smart Luggage has been shortlisted.
