With the launch of our brand-new destination centre and more countries now relaxing covid entry requirements; the question on our lips is “where will your next adventure take you?”

With over 30 countries housed in our destination centre, some of which are Europe’s most popular summer vacation spots, let’s take a look at the country and what entry requirements still remain.

GREECE

When arranging Travel Insurance for Greece, you can select “Greece” or “Greek Islands” from the country drop down.

Entry Requirements

  • You do not need to show proof of Covid vaccination, negative Covid test or certificate of recovery.
  • You are no longer required to complete a PLF (passenger locator form).
  • Masks are still required on public transport.
  • Always check the FCDO advice before travelling.

ITALY

Entry Requirements

  • You are no longer required to provide proof of Covid, negative test or certificate of recovery.
  • All passengers entering by ferry, train or coach must wear an FFP2 mask in order to enter the country.
  • Masks are no longer required on flights in, to or from Italy.
  • You are no longer required to complete EU PLF form
  • Always check the FCDO advice before travelling.

TURKEY

Beach lovers, eat your heart out! With over 450 beaches to choose from you really will be spoilt for choice. A combination of cultures, Turkey offers something for everyone from white sandy beaches, and forested peninsulas to food markets and ancient sites. Entry Requirements

  • Entry requirements are the same for all passengers, regardless of vaccination status.
  • You are not required to provide proof of Covid vaccination, negative Covid test or certificate of recovery.

FRANCE

One of the most popular French sayings is “La Vie Est Belle” meaning Life is Beautiful. With stunning coastlines, exquisite cuisine and breath-taking architect, you can understand why. Entry Requirements 

  • All fully vaccinated travellers over the age of 12 must show proof of vaccination.
  • If you’re aged 18 or over and not received your booster, but have had 2 doses of vaccine (no longer than 9 months ago) that have been approved for use by France, you are classed as fully vaccinated.
  • All travellers into France, must complete an EU-PLF form before boarding or upon arrival.
  • If you have received your booster jab, you’re considered fully vaccinated. 
  • Always check the FCDO advice before travelling.

PORTUGAL

Made up of a total of seven regions, it’s understandable why Portugal is a firm favourite from families to friends. Sandy beaches, outstanding golf courses, world-famous wines and diverse landscapes, make this the perfect European getaway. Entry Requirements

  • Travelling to the Azores is different to the mainland.
  • The mainland has scrapped all travel rules and passengers no longer have to show covid related documents when entering.
  • You no longer need to complete a Passenger Locator Form (PLF) for entry to mainland Portugal, Madeira and the Azores.
  • There are no Covid vaccination or testing requirements for entry to mainland Portugal, Madeira and Porto Santo
  • For entry to the Azores, you must present proof that you have been fully vaccinated when you check in for your flight.
  • Always check the FCDO advice before travelling.

SPAIN

With 18.13 million visitors every year, Spain is one of Britain’s most popular destinations. Whether you’re looking for glorious sunshine, lazy day siestas, or soaking up the historic sites – it really is the destination that keeps on giving. Entry Requirements

  • You need to show valid proof of one of the following: fully vaccinated (must meet Spanish authorities validity period request), negative PCR test 72 hours prior to departure or an antigen test taken 24hours prior, recovered from covid in last six months.
  • Use medical certificate or recovery record to prove your Covid 19 status on entry to Spain.
  • Rules do not apply to under 12’s.
  • If you have been fully vaccinated, recovered from Covid in the last six months or under 12, you no longer need to complete the Travel Health Control Form. Everyone else must complete the form no more than 48hours before travelling.
  • Always check the FCDO advice before travelling.
